New Country House, Devon

This new house stands on a spectacular hill top site with views to the ruined Berry Pomeroy Castle to the east and over Dartmoor to the west. It replaced a modest farmhouse to become the principal house on the estate.

It is in a simple broad-eaved Regency style with a roof of Trevillet slate and stuccoed walls, washed in a warm yellow ochre, with dressings of De Lank granite.
