The Pavilion (Opera House), Thorpe Tilney, Lincolnshire

Although originally conceived as a bathing pavilion, this grand little garden structure became the home of the Pavilion Opera Company. Its rich interior has columns and pilasters in a Corinthian order derived from the temple of Castor and Pollux and stained glass by John Piper.
