House at Aston, South Yorkshire
This house was constructed to the rear of the owner’s previous home to take advantage of an established garden and an outlook over open parkland. It is built of York Handmade brick with Yorkstone dressings under a pantile roof. An open Doric loggia overlooks a broad terrace and double flights of steps leading to the parkland below.
A feature of the interior is a generous dining hall from which French windows lead out into the loggia.
